Judi A. Rypma is the author of 2 previous chapbooks Holy Rocks and Mineral Treasures, both from Finishing Line Press, and has published poems in over 100 journals, most recently in Gargoyle, Florida Review, Nimrod, Pearl, The Atlanta Review, and The Amherst Review

Judi teaches folklore and mythology at Western Michigan University.  A Pushcart Prize nominee, she has won the Editor’s Prize from The Chaffin Journal and received Honorable Mention in the Sulphur River Review’s Ocean Prize.   She lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where, with the “helpful” assistance of her basset hound, Anastasia, she is an obsessive-compulsive gardener.
